Course description
A 2.5-hour CPD course on the ethical reasoning side of the HCPC's Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics, effective September 2024, built for HCPC-registered professionals across all 15 regulated professions. It covers genuine partnership and consent, confidentiality including shared and remote settings, the duty of candour including the apology itself, and honesty and trustworthiness including the new social media standard.

The HCPC regulates 15 genuinely different professions, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, paramedics, radiographers, speech and language therapists, and more. Most ethics training defaults to one profession's typical scenario and doesn't transfer well to the rest. This course is written using scenarios drawn from across different HCPC professions, and grounded in the actual September 2024 standards update, not an older version.
