How many CPD hours should I aim for each year?
The GMC itself doesn't set a fixed number, your Royal College or specialty body typically provides specific guidance. Genuine variety across your portfolio matters more than a raw hour count.
Should I take Ethics or Professionalism first?
Either stands alone. If a specific ethical dilemma, consent, confidentiality, honesty, is on your mind, start with Ethics.
