Dishonesty is treated differently from almost every other category of concern a regulator investigates. A genuine clinical error, handled honestly, is usually remediable, more training, closer supervision, a demonstrated change in practice. A single dishonest act, by contrast, can be treated as revealing something about a person’s fundamental character that reflection and CPD alone can’t remediate, and sanction guidance across UK regulators reflects that difference directly.
This course covers what genuinely counts as dishonesty, the real, common categories, qualifications, records, declarations, expenses, what to do when someone else is being dishonest, and a genuine, practical method for the hardest moments, when you’re under real pressure to bend the truth yourself.

Any regulated health or social care professional. This is a genuinely common course, the underlying standard, honesty as a foundational, non-negotiable expectation, is consistent across GMC, NMC, GDC, HCPC, GPhC, and Social Work England.
